Sprint Customer Service Sucks
18 February 2004
I've been a sprint customer for a few yers, PCS and long distance. Recently I signed up with the US Airways frequent flier program. According to their website, you can earn miles on your Sprint accounts, but it's only for new accounts. Can I receive mileage credit on my existing accounts?
The first rep said "Sure, what we can do is sign you up for nickel nights..." "No, i'm happy with my existing plans. I just want to earn the 5 miles for each dollar I pay you guys" "Oh ok, let me transfer you. In case you are disconnected here is the number."
4 minutes on hold later, and 2 minutes with the automated system, I get this nice guy who also didn't know my answer. But he will transfer me and again give me the number in case we get disconnected.
Transfer. On hold for 5 minutes this time. Click. Click. Ring. Operator. After 12 minutes 24 seconds I was disconnected.
Good thing rep #2 gave me the number, now I can call back! Yay! I get to go through this hell and frustration alllll over again. I'm *so* lucky!
Sprint, your customer service sucks. They are always polite and the hold times aren't that bad. But the reps are consistently the most clueless bunch of incompetant morons I've ever dealt with.
