Several years ago, I was contacted to design a custom serif font for a CD-ROM. The deal fell through, but this font was born out of it. It started out as a blend of 2 fonts which I further manipulated and refined. The tall x-height of the lowercase letters gives it a very modern feel, while the serifs and stroke contrast are very classic.

This font is available in Windows TrueType format, but it will work with Mac OS X. It is $10.
