Kitties!

So, I have 3 very crazy felines: Beaker, Ski and Mini. They all came from the MSPCA in Methuen, MA. They are very spoiled. When I die I want to come back as one of my cats.

Beaker.

Beaker celebrates his 4th birthday this spring. I got him in March 2000. He's a BIG fluffy orange cat with freckles on his nose. He may not be the brightest cat in the world, but he is definitely the nicest. Oh and his purr is louder than my 1981 VW diesel Rabbit. Every night he lays half on my hip and keeps me awake until 2am purring. I love this dear sweet cat. I love all of my cats, but Beaker has a certain sweetness about him that is irresistible.

Ski.

Ski will be 8 or 9 this year, I'm not sure. I got him at the same time as Beaker and they said he was 4 but I don't know if he was just turning 4 or going on 5. He is probably the biggest cat I have ever seen and he's not over weight. But alas, he does not know his size and thinks he is a petite cat and jumps on everything, knocking over everything in his path. He's a nice cat when he wants to be. His name was given by his previous owners and it took me 6 months to figure out why - it's short for Ski-zophrenic. One minute he purring and snuggly and the next his ears go flat, his tail wags and he bites you. But we love him anyway.

Mini.

I got Mini in July 2001 and she is so very dainty and petite. Weighing in at 6 1/2 lbs I think she is the smallest adult cat I have every seen. She is very sweet and beautiful though a little up tight. But, over this last year she has really mellowed out and is becoming a lap cat. She just *loves* Bill and every time he comes over she gets on his shoulders and eats his hair. She does this cute thing where if you put your head in front of hers she flattens her ears and charges at you effectively smacking you in the head with her small, hard skull. It's very sweet actually. But painful.
