If you ever have the please of going to San Diego, be sure to swing by the Children's Beach in La Jolla. It was an area they semi-barricaded out so little kids could swim without getting swept out to sea, but the wild seals living in the area thought it was so nifty they just moved right in! At any given time you can go to the beach and see at least a dozen to several dozen wild seals camped out on the beach just hanging out. Every time I go to San Diego I make a trip to visit them.
